Location, Props, Models and Costumes

Locations
I’ll mainly use the studio for my images because I want to be able to cut the image out and change the background. I will however take some at an Enter Shikari gig during December that I intend on using. This is ideal because it’s an actual gig and so would make my magazine look more genuine. Also, I’ll take some of myself at my mother’s office for the editor’s note photo, using the office scene as a background in order to make it appear as though I’m working on an actual magazine in the magazine offices.

Props
I don’t plan on using any props in my photos because if I use props, they may take the focus off of the models, plus, I don’t need them.

Models
I’m going to use three models (not including myself and the pictures I’m going to take at the Enter Shikari gig). Alex, Samantha and Sophie. I’m trying to use a range of male and females in order to appeal to both a male and female audience. Plus, all my models are young because I am aiming at a younger audience (15-25 year old)

Costumes
I’m going to ask my models to wear clothes they would usually wear on a normal day because I want my audience to see their differences. My audience is going to made up of a lot of different people so I want to use a lot of variety in the content of my magazines, which includes the models who are all very different.
